Who We Are

Zeph New Energy is a Dhaka-based company dedicated to accelerating Bangladesh's transition to clean energy and electric mobility. We develop, finance, and operate turn-key electric transport and clean power infrastructure — delivered as a single accountable partnership to government, institutional, and commercial customers.

Zeph was founded on a thesis about the next decade of energy. Solar has already won on unit economics, waste-to-energy is live, and AI-accelerated fusion is coming within the next five to ten years — the era of abundant clean power is arriving.

But abundance at the generation layer does not reach the ground unless the infrastructure of transport, logistics, and energy distribution and consumption is rebuilt for it.

Put plainly: even if energy were free tomorrow, we couldn't use it — Bangladesh is stuck with diesel and gas.

Zeph exists to close that gap in Bangladesh: flipping OPEX-heavy, fuel-import-dependent diesel logistics into CAPEX-heavy, OPEX-light electric logistics — powered locally, or by the sun.

Vision

Our ten-year vision is to build the clean-energy rail beneath Bangladesh's economy — depots, fleets, grids, and industrial operations running on local and solar power.

Our customers provide the service. We provide the rail beneath it.

Leadership

ABM Obaidullah — Co-Founder

ABM Obaidullah is a serial entrepreneur and emerging-market investor with operating experience spanning manufacturing, agritech, and venture capital across Bangladesh and Singapore.

He founded Redgreen, a hardware technology company in Dhaka, which was successfully acquired by A to Z Ventures in 2021. He went on to build Tiger Ventures, a Singapore-based fund supporting early-stage founders across Asia with strategic guidance and capital, and Freshway AGtech, one of Bangladesh's leading plant-based feed producers, where he is Co-Founder and Managing Director. He also serves as Managing Partner of CEAN Global, the first independent climate and ESG assurance agency in Bangladesh.

He now brings that operator and investor experience to Zeph New Energy with a mandate to eliminate Bangladesh's fossil fuel dependency by replacing the country's transport and energy infrastructure with clean, self-sustaining electric alternatives.

Alex Miller — Co-Founder

Alex Miller is the Founder of AimHuge, an AI training company helping engineering teams across Asia ship production AI. He brings deep operating experience in high-growth emerging-market ventures across China, Southeast Asia, and South Asia, including three and a half years as Entrepreneur in Residence at Accelerating Asia, one of the region's leading venture accelerators.

Alex also founded Particle Alliance, a syndicate backing impact-driven startups across Asia, and is co-founder of ClimateFair.co and an Evaluator at the EIT Urban Mobility Fund. Climate-venture investments include Fulfilly (clean-energy logistics fleets, India), Orko AI (fleet management), SafeTruck (fleet safety, Malaysia), and Roots.ag / Living Roots (bioactive fertilizer).

Alex's earlier career spans Head of Product at ReFUEL4 (AI ad-tech, San Francisco / Singapore / Tokyo), CTO at GetCraft, and senior product manager for advertising at Renren — China's largest social network at the time — through its IPO.

A long-time advocate for electric mobility, Alex speaks Mandarin Chinese (中文), Indonesian, and Singlish, with working Thai — and, of course, fluent AI.

What We Do

Zeph delivers integrated clean energy and electric mobility programmes across five capability areas:

1. Electric mobility fleet deployment— Electric buses, commercial vehicles, and two-wheelers at fleet scale.
2. Charging infrastructure— Depot charging, route fast charging, and battery swapping.
3. Solar power generation— Rooftop and ground-mount solar for depots, commercial sites, and grid.
4. Energy storage— Battery energy storage systems (BESS) for grid stability and backup.
5. Fleet operations & management— Software, training, maintenance, and long-term service contracts.

We deliver these as single-responsibility turn-key programmes— the customer signs one contract and we manage every element through to full commissioning and long-term operation.
